PLAT:
A MAP OF A SUBDIVISION OF LAND PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL AND OR STATE PLAT STATUTES OR SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS.
BOUNDARY SURVEY:
PRECISE DETERMINATION OF THE PERIMETERS OF A PARCEL OR TRACT OF LAND BY ESTABLISHING OR RE-ESTABLISHING CORNERS, MONUMENTS OR BOUNDARY LINES TO ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THE PARCEL, LOCATE FIXED IMPROVEMENTS ON THE PARCEL, OR DIVIDE THE PARCEL.
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING THE HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL RELATIONSHIP OF SELECTED NATURAL OR ARTIFICIAL FEATURES LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND.
ALTA/NSPS:
A BOUNDARY SURVEY FOLLOWING GUIDELINES AND MEETING REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE AMERICAN LAND TITLE ASSOCIATION AND THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL SURVEYORS THAT WILL BE USED FOR TITLE INSURANCE PURPOSES.
CONSTRUCTION SURVEY:
SURVEY MEASUREMENTS MADE TO CONTROL CONFIGURATION, ELEVATION, DIMENSIONS AND HORIZONTAL CONFIGURATION PRIOR TO OR DURING CONSTRUCTION.
WETLAND SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING THE LOCATION OF DELINEATED WETLANDS UPON A PARCEL OF LAND.
TREE SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING LOCATION, SIZE AND SPECIES OF SELECTED TREES UPON A PARCEL OF LAND.
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY:
A SURVEY DETERMINING DATA RELATED TO WATER BODIES SUCH AS DEPTH OR BOTTOM CONFIGURATION.
FLOOD ELEVATION CERTIFICATE/LOMA:
A SURVEY ACQUIRING DATA USED TO COMPLETE FEMA FLOOD ELEVATION CERTIFICATE OR LOMA FORMS USED FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
TIDAL BOUNDARY SURVEY:
A SURVEY DOCUMENTING THE MEAN HIGH WATER LINE (MHWL) OF A PARCEL OF LAND BORDERING TIDALLY INFLUENCED WATERS.
AS-BUILT/RECORD SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING THE HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL DIMENSIONS AND LOCATIONS OF IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED ON A PARCEL OF LAND.
CONTROL SURVEY:
A SURVEY PROVIDING HORIZONTAL AND OR VERTICAL DATA USED FOR THE CONTROL OR SUPPORT OF SUBORDINATE SURVEYS OR MAPS.
QUANTITY SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING VOLUME OR QUANTITY MEASUREMENTS SUCH AS STOCKPILES OR BORROW PITS.
ROUTE SURVEY:
A SURVEY SHOWING QUALITATIVE INFORMATION AND POSITIONAL DATA OF ALIGNMENTS, GRADES, CROSS SECTIONS AND OR
